Wichita Friends School's Philosophy
Wichita Friends School's philosophy of education is based on the belief that every person is created in God's image, a philosophy which has been the foundation of Quaker education for 300 years. Therefore, we emphasize the worth of each child in our school, knowing that each boy and girl has unique gifts, talents, and capacities for learning and achieving. The atmosphere of our school reflects God's love for every person and our growing ability to love one another. In a setting that provides order and stimulation, children are encouraged to discover and develop their talents, to work both independently and cooperatively, and to respect their own worth and the worth of others.
