Thank you for the opportunity to receive a scholarship for my daughter. My husband and I were one of the families trying to recover from the big Boeing layoff. My husband is still laid off, since January 25, 2002. I work but my salary is not quite enough. We desire for our children to go to Holy Savior. I feel my daughter hs been overlooked in the public school system. It has so badly affected her. She has so many struggles.
I am so concerned as a parent for her education but I really don't know what to do. My choice was to try to home school her, but it is so impossible with me working so a private school is my heart's desire, but our family can't afford it so I'm in between a rock and a hard place. I want what's best for my child. She cannot re-live these years. Her education is so important. I'm trying to do all I can as a parent. We can't afford Sylvan Learning [Center] or tutoring.
Any help will be appreciated. These tax forms are from last year. Our income was much better but has drastically changed. Enclosed is my husband's paperwork from his job proving his layoff.
Thank you for your consideration.
