I am Mary Sumner, mother of two boys, Ferris, 7th grade and Skyler, 6th grade.

This scholarship program is important to my family and me because we are trying to grow and better ourselves. Education is all that children really have to focus on. I thank God I see the importance of that.

Not only do I have children in school, but I work at an elementary school helping children with their computer skills. I definitely see the need for structure, discipline and consistency. I feel that private schools focus on those areas a lot more without the leniency, which is what we have too much of.

It is important to me because I am raising two boys and I would like them to have a firm, solid foundation.
