Clientele Served
Holy Savior Catholic Academy is predominately African American with a significant representation from other racial and ethnic groups. Our programs and activities are inclusive to all persons.

Holy Savior Catholic Academy student body is 53% non-Catholic, our task is to assist the parents in the total formation of the student. Holy Savior Catholic Academy serves students of diverse aptitudes and abilities. We give in-house placement exams in Mathematics and Reacing early in the year t identify students abilities early on. Placement levels are documented for each student. Teachers are then able to prepare for remedial or accelerated work in certain disciplines, which allows students to work at their individual level. In addition to identifying learning abilities, we are able to identify different learning styles.

Holy Savior Catholic Academy serves an economic range of middle to lower income class families. Our student population is predominantly Black and 47% are Catholic. We have experienced slow but steady growth in enrollment. Holy Savior Catholic Academy has become the last best hope for many students who have experienced failure and disappointment in the Wichita Public School System.

Holy Savior Catholic Academy accepts students from any part of the City of Wichita and the surrounding area. Holy Savior Catholic Academy is part of a historic parish in the core of the city

Bus Transportation
Holy Savior Catholic Academy does not provide transportation to and from school. We are able to use USD 259 bus service for school field trips for a fee. We provide Latch-Key services until 6:00 p.m. daily to help offset any inconvenience the parents/guardians may experience because of the lack of a school bus system

School Organizational Pattern
Holy Savior Catholic Academy follows the Catholic Diocese of Wichita K-8 organizational pattern. In addition, we have full day Pre K-3 and a Pre K-4 programs. All the classrooms pre K-3-5 use a self-contained instructional philosophy with most subject areas taught by the classroom teacher.

The Middle School students rotate classes throughout the day. They are provided a full curriculum, which includes Religion, Math, Science, English, Health, Spanish, Computer/Synergistic Lab, Spelling, Social Studies and Music. All students Pre-K - 8 receive a full Spanish and Music curriculum. Holy Savior Catholic Academy is a Title 1 School.

Learning disabilities are mainstreamed. The Title 1 eligible students, which includes learning disabled and special needs students, receive services in "collaborative" or "pull-out" delivery methods. A positive attitude among our staff members, training, and good home-school communication has facilitated a successful inclusion experience.
