A Kansas group that backs school choice programs joined with two national organizations in supporting a Cleveland voucher program before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Children First: CEO Kansas joined the Center for Education Reform and Children First America in filing two amicus briefs.

The court will decide whether a school voucher program in Cleveland complies with the Constitution's requirement that government cannot promote religion.

The program uses taxpayer money to help cover tuition at parochial schools.

Children First America promotes school choice for low-income familes through privately funded scholarships.
